13 MULTINATIONAL COMPANY (MNC)/MULTINATIONAL ENTERPRISE (MNE)
Транснациональная компания
Компания, осуществляющая основную часть своей деятельности за пределами страны. Транснациональные компании инвестируют в сырьевые отрасли, производство комплектующих изделий, производственные предприятия и торговые филиалы за рубежом из соображений их более высокой эффективности и прибыльности, поскольку компания получает непосредственный доступ к ресурсам и рынкам сбыта. Размещая свои производственные мощности в других странах, компания может использовать и защищать свое конкурентное преимущество, например, запатентованные технологические процессы или уникальную товарную марку. Прямые инвестиции позволяют фирме снижать издержки сбыта и быстро реагировать на изменение конъюнктуры местного рынка - сдвиги предпочтений потребителей, действия конкурентов и т.д. Более того, у компании появляется возможность избежать государственных ограничений на импорт( тарифов и квот), а также воспользоваться особыми преимуществами страны пребывания, такими как государственные субсидии на внутренние инвестиции. Компания также имеет возможность использовать дешевую рабочую силу и получает доступ к высоким технологиям. См.
